With more than 45 years of experience in a diverse ceramic career, I will demonstrate a range of techniques and processes which may include professional throwing practices, making a variety of forms, sliced and wire-cut ceramics, tilemaking, brushwork, glazemaking and many other subjects while discussing a long, insider’s view of the ceramic world. This workshop can be tailored to the interests and experience of your audience.

World Ceramic History
This workshop covers the highlights of more than 30,000 years of ceramic history from the first fired works to the present. Processes and materials are emphasized along with an appreciation for the diversity of skills and aesthetics developed over the ages. No prior knowledge of art history needed.
